Sharon has worked with children for the past 25 years. Dr. Galitzer has experience in multiple healthcare settings including rehab units, pediatric homecare visits, the school system, telemedicine, as well as private practice in New York, Florida and currently in Maryland.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from New York University, her Master’s degree with concentration in the area of Pediatric Neurorehabilitation from Florida International University, and a Doctor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She served as an adjunct professor at Lynn University and has been a clinical instructor to students from physical therapy programs across the country. She is NDT certified in pediatrics, and is also certified in Infant Massage.
Dr Galitzer’s philosophy is to maximize a child’s independence with activities that are fun, challenging and functional.
