2019 B Social – Team Building for Adolescents with Social Challenges (ages 11-16) (Summer Program)
Celebrating our 12th year, Fitness for Health and the Center for Communication and Learning is offering a summer therapeutic program for students with ADD/ADHD, Asperger’s, Social Communication Disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Program co-founder Susan M. Abrams M.A. CCC-SLP was recently featured in the ASHA Leader, published by the American Speech Hearing Language Association.
Our B Social Team Building Program focuses on developing your adolescent’s social competency. Social thinking® is more than just about being social. The skills and strategies we teach will impact their performance at school, in the community, and throughout their lives
Our dynamic and unique program facilitates the development of:

- Interpersonal Relations
- Team Communication
Social learning is facilitated through direct instruction, coaching, and opportunities to practice the skills in a dynamic environment.
Our 4:1 Student to Professional Staff (speech-language pathologist and fitness specialists) ratio make the B Social program especially beneficial for students with social challenges.
2019 Session Information:
- August 5-9 | 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- August 12-16 | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Cost: $549* per week
10% discount if you sign up for multiple weeks.
10% discount if registering before March 15.
Only one discount is allowed. No combining discounts.
*Reimbursement of costs for the program may be available for insurance coverage and/or flexible health spending accounts. Kaiser Permanente members with prior authorization have a possibility for savings.

Parents and potential B Social summer program attendees can come learn more about our program. We will have staff members for your children to try things out. They will have a blast! Staff will discuss our program and answer questions for parents.
