Senior Fitness Specialist
Bristal McAlister received her Master of Science degree in Adapted Physical Activity from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, and is a graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education: Teacher Certification K-12; with a minor in Adapted Physical Education. During her studies, she logged over 1,500 hours of hands-on experience working with people with disabilities and presented at the National Society of Health and Physical Educators (formerly AAHPERD) Convention.
In addition, Bristal is a Certified Adapted Physical Educator (C.A.P.E.), as well as a certified Special Olympics Swim coach and a certified Adapted Aquatics Assistant. A member of the Fitness for Health team since 2010, she believes that celebrating her clients’ successes is, above all else, the key to helping them succeed.
